JOIN THE EMPIRE!

  • Anyone applying who is part of a Faction/NFG hostile towards the Empire is commonly denied. A member of the Imperial High Command (IHC) has the authority to vouch for that individual and he/she can then be accepted (i.e.: Rebel Alliance, The Core, Night Thieves).


  • Any previous misconduct, criminal activity, cheating, lying etc. can be reason to deny the acceptance into the Empire.

IMPERIAL INTELLIGENCE (II)

A centralized intelligence body with a primary mission of monitoring external threats. Imperial Intelligence is lead by a civilian known as the Director of Imperial Intelligence. There are many other purposes of Imperial Intelligence, however the chief ones include: monitoring and reporting groups that are hostile towards the Empire; performing counter-intelligence operations; analyzing data; and monitoring new arrivals to the Empire and ensuring that the acceptance policy is upheld. Its headquarters is located in the Coruscant System.

THE IMPERIAL ARMY (IA)

The Imperial Army's primary concern is land warfare. The Imperial Army is lead by a military officer known as the Army Chief of Staff, typically this position is held by the Lord General. The army has two primary purposes: the first, being able to engage in all aspects of ground warfare; the second, being able to enforce Imperial law on occupied planets. Its headquarters are located in the Berchest System.

Careers:


INFANTRY:
Made up of Stormtroopers, soldiers, and some mobile and Artillery units, some of the many duties of the Infantry are:

  • To patrol and defend bases, outposts, cities, towns, etc., in defense of all Imperial Laws and Security.

  • To storm enemy strongholds, ships, and bases.

  • To be able to adapt to a variety of climates and terrain.

  • To capture enemy forces for public execution, or lifetime imprisonment.

  • To escort public officials to a pre-determined destination.

  • To act as an internal police force when called upon.

MOBILE ARMORED TRANSPORT FORCES (MATF):
Composed of AT-ATs, AT-STs, AT-PTs, TIE Crawlers, and the behemoth Juggernauts, the MATF is often usded on a variety of duties including:

  • To transport troops in all kinds of climate and terrain as safely as possible.

  • To go on the offensive against all types of defensive strongholds, formations, and forces.

  • To patrol and defend bases, outposts, cities, towns, etc., in defense of all Imperial Laws and Security.

  • To lay waste to designated cities, towns, or outposts.

  • To act as mobile command platforms from which unit commanders may direct the flow of battle.

  • To lay down cover fire for advancing Infantry forces.

RECONNAISSANCE:
Made up of specially trained Stormtroopers and mobile units (Speeder Bikes), some of the many uses of Recon are:

  • To act as the eyes and ears of any Army unit, be it MATF or Infantry.

  • To act as a preliminary quick strike force when needed.

  • To relay information on any enemy defensive information to an awaiting Imperial unit in an offensive campaign.

  • To relay information on any enemy offensive information to an awaiting Imperial unit in a defensive campaign.

  • To patrol and defend bases, outposts, cities, towns, etc. when called upon, in defense of all Imperial Laws and Security.

  • To be able to adapt to a variety of climates and terrain.

  • To escort public officials to a pre-determined destination.

IMPERIAL NAVY (IN)

The Imperial Navy's primary concern is space warfare. The Imperial Navy is lead by a military officer known as the Navy Chief of Staff. The Navy Chief of Staff's rank is typically Lord Admiral. The Navy serves many purposes but the foremost is to engage in all aspects of space warfare. The Navy is also in trusted with the responsibly of enforcing Imperial law in space. Its headquarters are located in the Kuat system.

Careers:

IMPERIAL FIGHTER COMMANDER
Fast reactions and skillful flying is what is required to be a successful Fighter Commander. Not only do you personally fly against other bombers and their escorting fighters, but also you will command from a squadron of 12 to thousands of fighters. Leadership is therefore an important skill, as is the ability to make the hard, tactical decisions.


IMPERIAL BOMBER COMMANDER
If you have nerves of steel and a stomach to match then being an Imperial Bomber Commander is the job for you. Flying with such powerful torpedoes under your wings is not a job for the faint hearted! Dodging all that flak and fighters takes a lot of skill, so flying ability and tactics are very important. Leading your squadron effectively can cause the downfall of many enemy ships and installations, and the triumph of the New Order.


IMPERIAL ESCORT FIGHTERS
If you fancy destroying both enemy fighters and capital ships, then perhaps this is the choice for you. Your task, if you are in command of a squadron of these fighters, is to cover the bombers as they make their assault, protecting them from enemy interceptors. Once you have ensured their warheads hit the target, then you are to help them destroy it with laser fire. Once that is done you are to escort them home. If this is done success fully then you will have destroyed many vital assets for the enemy.


IMPERIAL SCOUT PILOT
Knowledge of enemy fleet movements is vital to the success of a fleet engagement. Piloting Imperial Tie Scouts, you will be able to scout ahead of the fleet, and report your findings direct to command. Once the fleet is engaged in battle, you will then be able to arrive from behind the enemy lines and provide assistance where needed, and least expected.


PICKET SHIP COMMANDER
You will start off as a typical ship of the line. Your duty will be to provide escort for the larger capital ships in your fleet against aggressors. As you and your crew advance in skill you will be assigned larger and more powerful ships, until eventually you are given a mobile fortress to command, such as a Star Destroyer. Your duty will then typically change to an assault or carrier role.


CARRIER COMMANDER
The carrier provides a vital function within of any and every fleet. While your ship will not have much firepower to start off with, you will have many squadrons of fighters and bombers on board that will await deployment. Your task will be to move into an attack position and allow the TIEs the opportunity to launch off and attack their targets. You will then have to stay on station to collect your TIEs before rejoining with the fleet.


ASSAULT COMMANDER
Your job will be to engage the enemy capital ships and with the help of bombers, to destroy them. While the job is dangerous, the rewards are well worth it. Successful commanders are feared by their enemies and held in awe by their comrades.


ESCORT CARRIER COMMANDER
Escort Carriers follow up behind the fighters and bombers in the fleet and use their laser batteries to shoot down enemy fighters. People who choose this career are typically granted Lancer-class Frigates to allow them the best chance to achieve their task. Eventually you will be given an Assault role, based on superior performance and tactical competency.


TRANSPORT COMMANDER
Troops and small ships always require placement to and from a combat zone. Normally, this is deep in the heart of enemy lines, where the Empire is trying to break through. It is up the Transports to accomplish this feat. The skill required to drop thousands of troops where they are needed, as well as being able to pick up the injured and ferry them home is immense. Are you up to the task?

IMPERIAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT (IRD)

Created to conduct scientific projects in the fields of research and development. Imperial Research and Development is led by a civilian known as the Director of Imperial Research and Development. Imperial Research and Development has many purposes, but the first and foremost is to improve existing technology through scientific research. Its headquarters is located in the Berchest System.

HISTORY

The Galactic Empire was established to replace the corrupted Old Republic Senate, and has been dedicated to returning pride, order, and security to a galaxy that has been too long under the heel of ineffectual factionalism, envy, bribery, and petty politics.

Sadly, there are those who object to this returning stability and security, and seek to plunge the galaxy back into the darkness and uncertainty of the past for their own selfish profit. Petty charlatans and demagogues strive to disrupt this order, the New Order, and return to the inefficiency and weakness of the Old Republic.

Imperial Citizens, peruse the Imperial News Grid, absorb the information, and use it to quell the disruptive actions of these terrorists and insurrectionists. The Empire governs this galaxy, and will continue to, despite what pitiful insurgents think.

CONCLUSION

The current period that is know n as the New Order is a time of great improvements in many aspects of Imperial organization. The structure of the Empire has been reorganized and the theory of capable leadership is now more common then ever. The Empire itself has never been in a more productive era.

Why not the Empire? There are no reasons why not, only reasons why you should. The choice is simple: Join the Empire.
