The Kuat Sector currently encompasses systems in the area of the galaxy from Arkania to Commenor, and Caamas to Zeltros. This gives the Kuat Sector a rich and varied mix of planets, most with a history of development and accomplishment tied to the Empire, now or its historical antecedents. Noteworthy systems are Alderaan, Arkania, Balmorra, Carida, Commenor, Kuat, and Niemodia.

• Alderaan is a pastoral delight, marked by grassy plains, sparkling oceans, distinguished universities and celebrated museums. Idyllic Alderaan is a little paradise with a rich history.
• Arkania is a system steeped in the history Jedi-Sith conflict. A world watched over by Jedi Master Arca Jeth during the period leading up to the Great Sith War, it is a cool, tundra world known for huge diamonds.
• Balmorra is renowned for its weapons factories, which manufacture of many of the Empire's most destructive weapons, including the AT-ST.
• Carida is the education capital of the Empire, being both an Imperial Academy for the Army and Navy, and also the singly largest training facility for the military. It is ideally suited to training the soldiers because it is a large world with a greater than standard gravity and varying climate.
• Commenor is known galaxy wide as a hub for commerce, trading, and galactic-wide Finance. Critically located, it sits on the outer edge of the Core Worlds on a major trade route near Corellia.
• Kuat is a system near the core of the galaxy. Best known for the Kuat Drive Yards, Kuat is known as 'The Home of the Navy.' Chances are, if you are in a good ship, it was built at Kuat.
• Neimodia is well-known, home to the Neimodians and the seat of power for the Trade Federation.
