Anaxes, Axum System, Coruscant Sector – Ord Mirit, one of the many colony worlds populated by the loyal citizens of the Empire, and recently portrayed as a center of civil unrest, has played host to a battle between the Imperial 1st Sector Military, and a dissident faction of the Trade Federation and hired mercenaries. Kept under secrecy through a collaborated effort between Imperial Intelligence and the 1st Sector Fleet Command, the Battle of Ord Mirit had taken place within a few short hours, and its only remains the broken shells of hundreds of Droid Starfighters, and the smashed hull of a Trade Federation Battleship.
Near Ord Mirit’s atmosphere, incapacitated, floats the Trade Federation’s Control Ship “Tariff”, where officers of the 1st Fleet took prisoner, Viceroy Po Nass.
The chemical formula for Genocide-7, stolen many months before, has also been reacquired by Imperial Forces, and its burglar taken prisoner, already on his way to an ISB facility for his proceedings, which are expected to be short.
The 1st Sector Corps had similarly recaptured the capital of Ord Mirit, which had been invaded and fortified by the Trade Federation’s Droid Army, liberating loyal Imperial citizens from the tyranny of Viceroy Nass, and the ever looming threat of a chemical attack from Genocide-7.
Though no personnel were available for questions, a release from the 1st Sector Military Command has stated the following:
“The Trade Federation forces under Viceroy Po Nass have seen first hand the ferocity of the Coruscant Sector Military. Never do we grow lackadaisical in our promise to defend our space, and our people. The promise made by former Moff Charles Slayden to recapture Genocide-7 has been fulfilled, and the 1st Sector has made its point to those wishing to deal in illegal and treasonous activities within her borders.”
Further reports dictate that the 1st Fleet at the Battle of Ord Mirit, commanded by former Captain Vincent Lytear suffered no losses, and completely destroyed, or captured all opposition.
The 1st Corps, commanded by Brigadier General N.A. Johnson reports similar statistics, and has declared an overwhelming victory on the surface.
