Coruscant, Coruscant System, Core Worlds -
Holoscreens across the galaxy, showing programming ranging from sanctioned fights, racing, soap-operas, and the latest in galactic news flicker a moment, and are then replaced by the seal of the Galactic Empire. Shortly thereafter, the acronym “COMPNOR” replaces it.
“Commission for the Preservation of the New Order.”
As the word fades, the crescent shaped Imperial City looms into view, and the voice of a narrator booms from the speakers:
“The Galactic Empire spans countless systems. Welcoming them into the protective embrace of a government that will not abandon them as the Senators of the Old Republic had.”
The image on screen shifts to that of Fondor, capital of the Tapani Sector:
“The ideals of the New Order. Bringing order to chaos, and justice to lawless sectors, plagued by pirates, mercenaries, and rebellious factions seeking to undo that which brings peace to so many. Education, Science, Art, and the furthering of Society as a whole are being taken to levels the greedy Republic had never envisioned.”
Again the screen shifts, this time to the planet of Kuat, the Drive Yards hanging over it majestically, with Imperator-class Star Destroyers parked about them, awaiting their crews:
“The Galactic Empire, following the precepts of the New Order, will see an endless, and plentiful future.”
The image changes once more to thousands upon thousands of civilians on the Imperial Center, going about their daily lives. Interspersed amongst them are the men and women of the Imperial Military:
“As citizens of the Galactic Empire, you share in the vision of the New Order. For a better, more secure, galaxy.”
The screen fades back to its original programming.
Recently re-established as a major working organization within the Empire, under the leadership of newly appointed Grand Vizier, Vincent Lytear, COMPNOR activity has already begun its galaxy wide process of instilling the ideals and values of the New Order in everyday life. Thousands of star systems have already felt the ripple of change COMPNOR brings, to not only their personal lives, but also the heightened sense of safety those in the COMPNOR uniform bring with them. Where the personnel of COMPNOR are present, the ideals of the New Order are firm.
